2nights - Highlander Hotel, Mount Hagen, Western Highlands Province
2 nights - Pacific Gardens, Goroka, Eastern Highlands Province
DAY 1
Upon arrival in Port Moresby, our staff will meet/greet you and transfer you to your onward flight to Mount Hagen. At Kagamuga Airport in Mount Hagen, you will be met by our staff and transferred to Highlander Hotel.

DAY 2
Full day cultural tour of the Melpa people of Mount Hagen City which is also the business heart of the highlands. Visit Kuk archiological site for village study, learn the local lifestyles, gardening and daily activities and mingle with these people.

DAY 3
Early morning breakfast, you will travel along the Okuk Highway (Highlands Highway) and pass through tea and coffee estates. You will be given time to take photos as you travel along the highway.
You will visit Mindima village for “Skeleton dancers” demonstrating hunting and food gathering skills, and how hunting was done in the old days. After that you will continue driving into Kundiawa, the capital town of Simbu province and have lunch at Mt Wilhelm Tourist Hotel.
You will further drive down to Daulo Pass, a mountain which is located 2344 metres above sea level and you can have a panoramic view of the Bena Valley from Daulo Top. You will further drive through the fertile valley of Asaro Mudmen, pass through the coffee plantations and finally arrive at your hotel in Goroka as scheduled.

DAY 4
Early after breakfast, you drive to Bena Valley for the Cane Swallowing Initiation Ceremony and you will also experience the Agro Eco Tourism activities like picking coffee, building a house, gardening and daily chores that normal Highlands Tribal Clans do in the Bena Valley.
MOKAMOKA Tribes
After lunch you will tour the Main Market and Transfer to Mt. Gurupoka for short Hiking to the Top Cave and you will witness the MOKOMOKO Dance by the Gurupoka Tribes.
Late in the afternoon you will travel back to your hotel as scheduled.

DAY 5
After breakfast in the morning, you will be transferred to the Airport for your flight to Port Moresby. Upon arrival in Port Moresby you will further be transferred to your ongoing international flight back home. (B)
