2 nights - Kokopo Beach Bungalow, Rabaul.
3 nights - Highlander Hotel, Mount Hagen.
DAY 1
Upon arrival in Port Moresby, our staff will meet / greet you for your onward domestic flight to Rabaul. Arrive in Rabaul and you will be met by staff from Kokopo Beach Bungalow and transferred to your hotel as scheduled.
Overnight: Kokopo Beach Bungalow (--D)
DAY 2
You will have full day touring Gazelle and the North Coast Rabaul areas. Visits to WWII relics, tunnels, Rabaul town devastated by the 1994 volcanic eruptions, Tavurvur volcanoes and hot springs.
Overnight: Kokopo Beach Bungalow (BLD)
DAY 3
After breakfast, you will depart for Tokua Airport for your domestic flight to Port Moresby. Upon arrival in Port Moresby, you will be met by our staff and you will be further assisted to your domestic flight to Mt. Hagen.
Arrive at Kagamulga Airport and you will meet / greet our staff in Mount Hagen and transfer to Highlander Hotel.
Overnight: Highlander Hotel (B-D)
DAY 4 & DAY 5
Two full days' tours featuring the unique culture and tradition of the Melpa people who live near the Mount Hagen City which is the business heart of the highlands of Papua New Guinea, supplying a number of important industries, such as tea, coffee and mining. Visit typical local villages for village study, learn the local lifestyles, gardening, and daily activities and mingle with these people.
A Huli tribe will put up a sing-sing for you on the second day. You will see the iconic Huli tribe in their local settlement here in Mount Hagen. This famous highlands tribe is admired for their vibrant and colorfully decorated hair wigs, bilas and dance.

DAY 6
After breakfast, you will transfer to Kagamuga Airport for your flight to Port Moresby. You will further transit to your ongoing international flight.
